April = Show Season Kickoff! Yesterday (April 4th) to some was the real kickoff for the show season here in the Vegas Valley with Greaser's 10th Annual "Rod & Kustom Reunion," benefiting the Basic High School MJROTC. The show is always a good one to hit so if you didn't make it out - you missed out! Be sure to check out the pics where you may notice Classics And Rods took home the club participation award! Way to go everyone and thanks to all who made it out with their cars! There's too much more going on this month to list so check out the events section.
Cruise to Kingman Normally in March we all cruise through the Valley of Fire, but with heavy road construction and expected delays we've decided to take our annual cruise to Kingman, AZ and hit good ol' Rte 66. The cruise is planned Saturday, March 14th so please join us for a great drive and great times. Details are mapping out here on our forums. Please post there with questions or call any of us listed on our join page. Un till next time. . . Upcoming for February Every year we meet up in February and cruise across the Hoover Dam. Not only WILL we catch a good breakfast at the Wildfire Casino on the way, but we then get to drive right across the dam and park for a few hours to take it all in.. something none will be able to do in the near future. Each year we see progress on the new bridge spanning across the river, so come on out and spend the day with us while you can! We'd like to invite all Classics And Rods in the area to meet with us and cruise on out, or just ride out anytime during the event and say hello. It makes for a great drive with the family so come on out. Complete details can be found on our forums as well as our motortopia page. January 2009 It's that time again - A new year with new projects, but still the same ol' fun. To kick it off Classics And Rod's will be holding our annual "Kick-off BBQ" January 17th at Sunset park starting about noon-thirty. We would like to invite all classics, rods, and the sorts to come out and join us to meet the club, check out the cars, and have a good time. This is a great family event so bring the kids and the dogs, too! Full details can be found here. We do ask an RSVP just so we can get a good estimate on how much food to bring out. Also going on the same weekend (and yes, we apologize for the scheduling conflict) is the Mesquite Motor Mania 2009 - Check that out here. Sounds like a nice cruise up to Mesquite and back. Anyone who makes it out be sure to share with us how it went on our forums So hopefully we will see you at our BBQ and meet some new faces. Remember to check back here soon for details on next months cruise to the Hoover Dam. Keep Cruisin'!
